1 dead common shrew on path about 200yds further up path a live common shrew darted across, 6 rabbit including 2 mating, 2 four spot chasers, several common blue and blue tailed damselfly, 3 gatekeeper butterfly, several meadow brown, 2 small white and 3 speckled wood butterfly,

decent numbers of meadow brown butterfly this morning i hadn't counted them but approx 20, 1 beetle that i think was a devils coach- horse

3 four spot chasers of them taking out a common blue damselfly of which there were approx 30 in number around stock pond area,

11 orange tip butterfly first of the year for me, 5 small white, 2 speckled wood, 1 peacock butterfly,

fox on the old road above diggle flash @ 19-40, several rabbits seen,

fox crossed path into C7 field at 20-05, decent number of bluebells on Bolton House Road near scrap yards plus one bright red tulip that stood out like a beacon.

Fox in undergrowth this morning I wouldn't have seen it without the magpies harassing it,
1 largish frog hopping across path near diggle flash,

8 common darter including 2 that seemed to be mating, 14 speckled wood butterfly, 3 rabbits,

2 squirrel and what looked like 2 field mice foraging underneath horse chestnut tree,

quite a few common darter this morning at least 12,
