Hi saw a Buzzard at Junction 20 yesterday (19/02/12) over fields near junction with A627M. I live just over border in W Yorkshire and am surprised hey haven't made Rishworth yet. Also I see a few rooks now building at the back of my house in Rastrick, nice to see Spring just round the corner.

The buzzard is probably the one that has been resident at Castleshaw for at least 7 months. There are several Buzzards in the Oldham area and have been for a few years now. Nice to see.

It looks as if 2011 will be the Year of the Buzzard in Oldham! We were out today (Sunday 10th April 2011) and at 12.16 pm we saw a buzzard soaring over Delph. We saw it go round and round, no wings flaps, until we lost sight of it. It has been a wonderful sunny and clear day, very little wind. Peter Jones Shaw
