Counted over 40 cormorants over the village this morning and had a female brambling in my garden .

Syd brook and surrounding fields , Had 2 pairs of teal , 1 heron , flushed a woodcock twice ( same bird ) highlight was finding a half built long tailed tit nest in a small bramble patch .
