Had an explore of some fields near to home an area off mode hill lane near Jct 4 M66 & Jct 18 M60. The area is mainly horse paddocks with some marshland and flashes, looks to have potential. A chirpy group of 12 Skylark (signs that spring is on its way) was the highlight for me. Pied wag 10 in the fields along with a few Redwing On the flashes Mallard 10 LBBG - Ad It looks great for waders!! Lots of big Gulls moving north about 50 Herring and smaller number of GBBG
