Spent the weekend here - snow and freezing cold.
However saw around 6 Dippers in a 3 mile stretch, most were singing which I'd never heard before - a scratchy jumble of notes which not surprisingly could clearly be heard over the rushing of the water.
Also 30 Oystercatcher huddled on a bank and around 10 Goosander.
Plenty of nestboxes - presumably for the Pied Flycatchers mentioned on an information board.
