I agree with everyone else, you can't go wrong with a Mini Trekker.

yeah them asda bags arent as strong as they used to be, and tesco bags are pretty much useless, handles keep breaking on them,
Sorry gone off topic here, johns fault , Get a mini trekker bag, superb, much better than them sainsburys bags though they are quite waterproof

Ha ha, you almost walked home with a bag full of canon stuff, i bet you would of got home and had a heart attack, welcome to the darkside...
i second the opinion, the lowpro mini trekker is spot on, lots of nice compact but padded compartments for lenses and not a bad price too, you can even fit Nikon stuff in there too rather than the usual asda bag
you can get them on ebay new for £55 quid,

With Christmas fast approaching I was thinking of getting the missus to get me a camera/lens carrying bag. Can anyone recommend a good and reasonably priced one?
Cheers
lowpro mini trecker-beltin fits my d7000+150-500 sigma-+bins and a flask or ed50 telescope-what more would a man need, and the outside pocket fits my small landscape camera, bird book, notebook, tide table, mars bars, etc, and it has a built in waterproof cover, that stores away in the bottombest bag by a mile, only unfortunate thing is dennis ath has the same bag,and once i picked his up and he picked mine up,which was the nearest i came to the darkside(Canon)

I use a Lowerpro bag. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and they are reasonably waterproof.
