"Born to be Wild" featured Malcolm Calvert who for many years edited the ringing report for our county bird report. Great stuff! All of it was superb.

Stop press just watched born to be wild really good. There was a feature on the reed warblers at Rostherne Mere. If you have not seen it I am sure it will be repeated loads of times over next week. The next one in the series is about Butterflies just up my street cant wait. I am going easy on the Tuc biscuits now they are bad for you loads of salt and polyunsaturated fats.

I am sure you all know this but for those who dont there is a current plethora of birding programmes on BBC4 my sky plus box is overheating with the strain of it all. Born to be wild and birding Britannia on tonight back to back.
A packet of tuc biscuits (1/5th of packet to be precise) and a cup of yorkshire tea could life offer any more?
