Cheers, I've found it now. The website is very confusing, especially when the book is also being sold on Lulu.com. I also downloaded his book on the 'Carboniferous Fossils of Winter Hill'.
Anyway, thanks again for your help.

Ignore the list of books at the top of the home page and scroll down a little. There's a link, Daves "Winter Hill Scrapbook" highlighted in purple, next to a big flashing advert for it Click this link then click The Complete Book link. It downloads as a pdf file.
Cheers Dean.

I couldn't find a free download of this book, only one that costs £3.75.
There's probably a way to download it from the website but I can't find it! Try this link, right-click the title in the first post then 'save link as' and it should save as a pdf.

If anyone, like me, has an interest in WinterHill and the surounding area. Have a look at this guys website. There's a FREE book to download "Winter Hill Scrapbook" It's full of fascinating facts about the history/wildlife/mines/plane crashes...UFOs of Winter Hill.
