An early morning walk from the fox to ferranti's was quiet apart from two unringed Dippers and an excellent view of a surprisingly confiding Kingfisher. Heard lots of Robins and Wrens but only saw two of each.

The Oldham Countryside and River Valley Bird Report - and it's got your name in as a contributor! (Kath includes some sightings reported on this forum).
I took the last one (I think) from Brownhills - you might get one at Daisy Nook?
Time to stock up, Kath!

Finally picked up a copy of Kath's 2009 report from Brownhills VC last week - excellent read, highly recommended to all local birders.
Keep up the good work Kath

A stroll this morning turned up two Dippers, both unringed, and a small flock of c15 Siskins, as well as the usual woodland fare.
