There have been some large flocks seen recently, flying in the general direction of the flashes, so I would guess there is probably a good-sized roost there at the moment. As Geoff says, pinning it down for filming may take a couple of visits. Good luck.

Best bet is bryn marsh,but be prepared for some leg work,the last time i tried to pin them down they shifted to Horrocks a 1 minute flight for them

Does anyone know if there is a starling roost at the Wigan flashes & if there is whereabouts are they roosting as its one thing I would love to film.
