Greenfinch on the Niger seed feeder this morning! I know that is not big news but they disappeared suddenly from Crankwood, about 5/6 years ago. However I saw one calling high in the poplar trees at the back of the house on Thursday, and this morning on the feeder. So, I'm hoping they are making a comeback.
Two Linnets at the back of Fred's farm this morning. Can't say I have ever seen them here in many years.

Lol, not very good at this! Crankwood is on Crankwood Rd, Leigh. It's a privately owned, so you can't go in and walk around. However you can walk along about a third of it's lengh via the station.
