A round of applause, please, for John Harrison who farms at Moss House Farm and Malkin Wood Farm on Worsley Moss. He moved 45 clutches of Lapwing eggs this spring when rolling his fields, and put them all back again. Most of them fledged and they had a very good season. Some farmers do care!
