Last of monthly wanderings (for a while) with an old friend... found us here...Highlights
Jack Snipe flushed from close quarters in a reed bed at 12.30 today.
The reed bed is along side the path at Bradshaw brook on the west side of the brook, about 100 metres south of the wooden bridge.
It was just inside the reeds and flew low and silent south for about 100 yards until it dropped to land out of sight.
