unsurprisingly very busy yesterday with people out walking kids and having picnics.
on the upside. 3 lazily floating ravens, 1 dipper and a whinchat sitting on a rock made the stroll in the sun worthwhile.
plenty of swallow, housemartins around,
and lots of the common species in and around the car park .

a morning mooch today produced
plenty of common species round the car park, mistle thrush by the farm buildings.
a good selection of corvids with jackdaw, carrion crow and raven seen.
2 stonechats apparently heading up the valley, meadow pipits displaying all over the place but also a flock of about 30 which seem to have newly arrived
