If you live in Greater Manchester, how about recording the birds in your garden? Just remember to include your location and perhaps the time and weather.
Location: Tyldesley, Wigan
Time: 4pm to 5pm
Weather: Mild, just stopped raining
2 Goldfinch
2 Coal Tit
1 Blue Tit
2 Sparrow
2 Blackbird (male and female)
1 Collared Dove (mate nesting in neighbour's satellite dish)
2 Wood Pigeon over
2 Starling over
