Right then let mayhem commence,no dawn raids for me I had to work this a.m.(pure greed) but I did manage a female goosander,mistle thrush,and 4 ravens whilst out and about,as I write I,m adding to the monthly list blue tit, starling,blackbird,collard dove,common tern just as they fly over the garden.Go on give it a go mail ian with your intentions,it,s surprising that once you commit to doing it no matter what the weather/wife/life throws at you 'sorry it,s my eco day' leaves them stunned and you,re free to go birding.
