Anyone heard of this superstition?

That when you hear the first cuckoo of the year you immediately take one shoe off wherever you may be at the time.

This act brings good luck for the rest of the year.

Then you put your shoe back on.

I have tried it and still did not win lottery.

I think the key to that was the 'reported' caveat that Birdguides put on
