I should have also said that if you haven't already seen it there is a site guide for the Rindle area on the Manchester Birding website which explains to situation with the feeding station.

Hi Mike,
The track at Rindle is seeded by Eddie King from the Leigh Ornithological Society who fund it.
Could I ask all future sightings from there go on the 'astley, chat and irlam moss' thread please. That way it will continue the wealth of information already on that thread from that area

REALLY GOOD HOUR TODAY AT THE FEEDING STATION. SISKINS FLOCKING WITH CHAFFINCHES WITH THE ODD BRAMBLING. TWO STOCK DOVES INTERRUPTED THE PARTY BUT THE FLOCK SOON RETURNED. CAN I ASK WHO IS GOOD ENOUGH TO BUY AND PUT SEED DOWN THE TRACK BECAUSE IT CERTAINLY GAVE ME A HAPPY AND ENTERTAINING HOUR, BEST WISHES TO ALL, MIKE
