According to Birdguides a Waxwing in Offerton at east end of Peregrine Road early afternoon.
I believe this was reported at 2.30 and I had a good look around the area from 3.30 onwards. No joy, and no berries to speak of, unless there are some hidden in back gardens. Also tried previous year's sites - Henry Street, St John's/Hall Pool Road estates, Gardener's Arms, off Lisburn lane etc but, again, no obvious food sources.
Has anyone checked Woodley precinct recently?
Cheers, John
