Hallo all, We have been discussing the number of Wood Pigeons on the Moss on the vismig group. I can't remember as a kid the large flocks that are found today. Does anyone have any data on numbers, and when the Moss became so popular for the species.
Thanks. Eddie
EDDIE this year is a real boom year for woodpigeons, massive numbers on the mosslands, ian had 15000+ in a short count and over 3000+ roosting at pennington which is almost unpresidented there.so its a really unusual year for woodys.
