Part of the planned introduction scheme(s) is for them to spread and join up with other populations.
No idea how this would impact on Common Buzzard - but it seems to work well enough in Wales...

Having watched the Red Kites on Springwatch, I had a thought about them.
Remembering when Buzzards were so uncommon 20-30 years ago and all of a sudden they seem to be everywhere, could the same thing possibly happen with Red Kites in say another 20-30 years time from now??
They certainly are getting seen outside their strongholds more often and seem to be spreading more.
Would the already established Buzzards have any effect on them??
Opinions please.
