A single bird singing today (21/3) alongside the Bridgewater canal between Worsley and Boothstown.

One singing at old railway line amberswood 6am, also sand martin flying northeast.

First chiffchaff of the year for me 7am this morning wardley cemetry[ southeast corner in pine trees near to east lancs road]. do not know if its the same bird but theres been chiffchaff at this exact spot for several years.
