Visited the reserve today - 1 hour overlooking the marsh at the end of Marshlands Road and 2 hours on the car park by the Old Baths. Whilst it was fine weather wise, it was blowing a gale and I had to catch the tripod & scope more than once to stop them falling over.
Similar birds seen as in last post although only raptors were Hen Harrier, Kestrel and a Buzzard (although this was on the south side of Neston). Views of a male Hen Harrier, then two separate views of a ring tail were very good. Missed a merlin which was around today according to the Dee Estuary site.
