Just spotted my first Redwings of the autumn/winter on the St Bedes playing fields, approx 4-5 (couldn't see the whole field from the view I had).

Had to pull over for a break at approx 3pm on Moss Lane West near Chichester Rd crossroads.
Group of 19 Long-tailed Tits flew from one tree to another near Maher Gardens and I could still hear more in the original tree they'd flown from. Also - Goldcrest heard twice in same area

Rosellas back again after a week break - first on Sat being mobbed near St Margaret's church by Magpies etc. and both Sat and Sun in my garden. Still only 2 I fear.

A regular on my fat ball over the past 3 to 4 weeks - a cock Blackcap. Very aggressive, dominates everything except the GSWs and the Rosellas. Have posted Ian a pic.
Adult Grey Heron seen from Princess Parkway feeding in the rain at 9pm on Friday on the playing field of Whalley Range High School.
Red Kite above Edgerton Road North in Whalley Range, M16, today at about 2pm.
