one of the best birders/photographers you will ever meet.me and charlie used to fire all over wales in his del boy reliant robin in the late 70's and early 80's.only problem wi travelling with charlie at that time was you had to get out about every 3 miles to fill it with water,a nightmare when we were heading for south stack!!and charlie was also prone to falling asleep at the wheel not recomended when traveling over thalwall viaductyou will still see charlie ariving at penny each day as everyone else is leaving about 4pm.luckily he now drives a 4x4.

Arround 30 birds and a Charlie Owen present at lunch - hardly any berries left so I suspect they won't be around for long.

I think there are more birds than are generally being reported. I had a max count Monday lunch of 49 though I noticed birds leaving the core group and heading off in various directions in 1's and 2's and also other birds coming back in.

I was there about 3pm Wed but they had gone. But they were probably doing the rounds. I am sure they will be back.
