Lee Evans (not always the most accurate of reporters) suggests in his latest news round-up that it was the roving Lancashire bird that briefly called in at Pennington. I thought the Marshside bird was present both am and pm on the 7th. I guess it could be possible for this bird to commute to Pennington between the Marshside sightings but, with accurate timings, can it be proved that 2 birds were involved.
