Woodcock flying along the river Douglas at around 11.30 today. Sighted at the rear of the bus depot on Melverley street and was following the river towards the bridge across from Asda. This area looks ideal for woodcock with plenty of marshy woodland. If we have any more rain it looks like i will be working in flood water again as the river was high.
