Yep - the time where we all give pressies - and hopefully get one or two in return!
A time when trousers suddenly don't seem to fit and we've been forced to eat more...
A time when the television is no better than usual... and we sectretly yearn for them to put on "The Wizard Of Oz" or a "Star Wars" film on Xmas day, despite having seen many many times...
A time when we forget at how cold the weather is and celebrate just simply being together... where arguments, moans and gripes are left at the door, because there's too much joy going on for 'em to come in!!!

My Christmas wish is to catch up with the elusive Bittern again, been very cold on the reed beds recently no sign yet, but still time.
