ok 12 months at least down this orrible road of discovery i,ll pass on the really positive thing i,ve learned(sorry if this old hat to some) the best digiscope adaptors are made at home/garage in a wallace & grommit fashion.I,ve just made adaptors for both my aldi scope and swarovski /20X60 lens and 30ww and both my asda camera and the olympus at a grand cost of nowt but time and effort.The recipe is the same but you need to be precise to cut down on the black surround'vingetting I belive',ingredients = 1 plastic tube to slide over the eyepiece 1 rigid square box cut away and drilled to accept the camera (all mine used to have nails,screws etc in them) cut the tube to the correct length glue the box to the tube making sure the camera lens will be square and central to the scope,and bobs your uncle,an adaptor tailor made for your setup for bobbins that can be 'on and off' in seconds.Your local D iY shop is a super source of plumbers tubes, connectors etc to rummage for the right sizes.WARNING||||| all filing drilling should be done well away from any optics ,wash the bits and dry them before you go anywhere near lenses etc.My latest additions to the gallery (common scoter and snipe) were taken using these adaptors. cheers(and yes i am tight) geoff
