Some stunning photos guys and some fabulous drawings too!
The drawings must have taken some time and require serious patience (which I usually lack) Ian - good idea too for enhancing the website.
Pity there isn't a birding website of the year competition!

Paul, loving the Film Noir feel with your images, your kosovo crows are awesome - touch of hitchcock thrown in there too.
And a touch of Edgar Allen Poe with the Peregrine
Good work all round, gentlemen.

I wish people wouldn't say that they can't draw. Like anything else, it's 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration. Yes, it's easy to take photographs but it's not easy to take really good ones. The evidence is here for you to see in the website galleries.

OK Steve. I promise I'll have a go sometime and I'm well aware of how difficult taking good photographs of birds is. It's only when you start you realise how much time and effort people must have put in to get some shots.

Excellent images chaps. I really like Ian's Pectoral Sandpiper and Lapwings and David's Nightingale. Inspires me to get out more with my camera (I can't draw to save my life).
Thanks for sharing them with us.

I seem to see there's 2 more on now (after spending all afternoon putting them on)
I need to get back into the drawing really as I've never given it or myself the full opportunity to show what I can produce, but with full time birding, this website, rugby, work, family (in no specific order honest) and other stuff I really don't think I can find the time anymore!

loving your drawings ian - really excellent stuff.
the dotted ones especially. have you seen the janapese movie hana bi? one of the characters painted with dots in it and they were equally lovely.
looking forward to seeing more from yourself and anybody else thinking of submitting. a great thing to have on the website i think!
