This time of year you can often see several pairs over Rostherne Mere hunting dragonflies

Hi.
They are breeding in the area and no doubt visit DMP as part of their territory.
The known pairs nearby are in Cheshire, although there is little doubt that they are also being overlooked in the area also.
Great birds to see - and hopefully will become more common in years to come.

Called over to Dunham Massey with the wife and kids yesterday and what a pleasant day we had. Made all the more enjoyable by a hobby making an appearance on a nearby tree for a few minutes.
Does anyone have info on what birds of prey there are at DM and in particular if Hobbies are seen regularly there?
Thanks
Big Malc
