RSPB Manchester members group have just had a trip round roughly the same locations.
We stayed in Cley so had good views of Barn Owl at dawn and dusk. Also Cettis and Gropper singing and a few Bearded Tits by the sluice. Only saw 1 Spoonbill there but plenty of Marsh Harriers. 1 Nightjar churring up on Salthouse Heath.
Dartford Warbler at Dunwich Heath and adult Med Gulls at Minsmere.
1 male Golden Oriole, loads of Hobbies and a Barn Owl at Lakenheath - no Cranes
Saw Jimmy at Titchwell and we also missed the Black Kite
We had the Red Kite on the way down on the A14 near Molesworth.
