This is perhaps the bird mentioned to Steve Suttill at the weekend?

A Hobby last night north of Arnfield Reservoir at Lees Hill. It was sat on fenceposts and also present late last week. There's also been a Red Kite over this area three times recently, but I don't think it's quite straggled over the border into Manc yet.
