29th April. Had the first freshly-fledged young House Sparrow of the year in the garden this morning - being fed by the adult male of the pair. Looks like this pair are a little ahead of their peers - who have only recently been seen stripping the fleece like lining off some hanging baskets, presumably for nest material. Cheers, Bill.
