Obviously nothing gets past Ian, but not sure about the Heron. Some of my old chicks are probably grey birds with big beaks now...

Steve..
Drake Mallard and Grey Heron. Am I right Seems strange sitting on the 'other side on the fence' for once, so's to speak
No sorry Ian, it was actually a Teal (its eye stripe hidden) and the other bird was actually a Greylag Goose. The angle it was sitting just accentuated the angle of its bill making it look larger than normal.
Revenge (evil laugh) haha haha haha haha

Been meaning to try here before. You really wouldn't believe your slap bang in the middle of one of Europes biggest Industrial Estates.
Birding wasn't great, but was somewhere different and a hide that provided a bit of shelter.
6 Tufted ducks
2 Grey Heron
3 Canada Geese
1 Mallard
2 Chiffchaff
2 Coot
2 Moorhens
Great, Blue and Long Tailed Tits in abundance...
Checked log in hide to see if anything of interest been spotted.
