Finished work early today so decided on a mooch around Pickley Green. Was hoping for Waxwings, they've been seen on this site before but no luck today unfortunately, however there was plenty of Thrushes about Redwing,Fieldfare,Mistle Thrush,Song Thrush and Blackbird all seen feeding. Also had a decent sized Tit flock containing Blue,Great and Long Tailed tits with at least 1 Goldcrest. Alders around Melrose Ave held Redpoll,Chaffinch,Greenfinch and Goldfinch. Singles of Kestrel,Snipe,Stonechat and Grey Wagtail seen.
