had a mooch there this morning before going to leighton moss - no joy with the shrike but nice walk and some red hot nuthatch sex in the trees...

It at the entrance to Hollins Farm. Turn left of the A671 at the church in Padiahm then first right anf follow for a mile or so.
The bird ranges around the bushes either side of the approach track or down by the river a little further along the lane.
You can park at a small feeding station at the beginning of the wood that the Burnley Way cuts through just outside Padiham. walk from there or you may face the wrath ofhe farmer. Pedestrians are welcome though.
