Had a quick look for the redpolls on Sunday morning - to no avail. Fairly quiet with just a few tits and a treecreeper

Well, sadly there are no pics of the Mealy Redpoll in the garden off Shay Lane from a few days ago but i'm lead to believe it was almost certainly a Mealy. Should have come home for that one, I need some points in the comp! Henry.

Not quite Hale Barns, but Hale - I had a Brambling (female) in the garden yesterday along with 25 Siskins and a Bullfinch. Song Thrush started singing on Wednesday too.

Report from my Mum of a possible Common (mealy/arctic?) type Redpoll in the garden today - Off Shay Lane at the Thorley Lane end. There is a stand of alders there which often harbour Siskins and Redpolls if anyone's interested. Just awaiting photos now. Come on mum! Thanks. Henry Cook.
P.s. I have to add that she found the last one in the area in the garden!
