at least 6 bullfinch and what looks like a bulls nest from this year. bare trees now revealing a few goldfinch and mistle thrush nests too. also 2 g.s.woods, a small flock of siskins, a sparrowhawk, redwings, plenty of jays and singing blue + great tits. kingfisher sill on rochdale canal with pied + grey wagtails about. has it already been mentioned that the ease with which the nests from earlier this year can be found once the leaves are down may paint a clearer picture of local breeding activity? i can identify species + usually age from most of the now-obvious nests i find and just wondered if it would help in any way
