Spotted from our Front window this lunchtime and had been about most of the morning. A pair of GSW in obvious courtship bobbing and dancing about on branches and chasing each other about The Grove and the bushes and trees of Williamm Wroe from 16th Green to back of 17th tee.

Yellow Wagtail Steve? They are unheard of in the UK in winter, so this would be especially intruiging if it is?
Although Grey is more likely a Yellow Wagtail wintered in Cornwall from 2006-2008 but not this winter, possibly an eastern race bird but in winter plumage too hard to tell.
Almost unheard of in the UK apart from a few very rare occurences of apparent wintering birds (two in the past 8 years) seen in early February

Sorry for the late sightings, but normally update from phone, bit cream crackered so had to make do with work computer.
Saturday am: 20 Goldfinches on feeders and Chicken pen in our Garden along with 10 long tailed tits and 15 Great Tits. Have moved one feeder to front of house so could be these have always been around but just not round the back.
Sunday 1300: 65 Goldfinches, by far the largest number we have ever had in and around our house, rapidly running low on Niger seed....

I don't thisnk the geese over Mosley Common at 1155 would be the same as seen at 0910hrs but a different lot? I had 36 going E over Littel Woolden Moss at 1017am today.

You both might want to add these sightings to the Pink-footed Goose thread, it looks like there was plenty of movement today.
Thanks for that you never know someone else may have seen them as well.
Welcome and thanks for making me your 1st post,

Hi Steve,
The pink feet flew over Christie Hospital in Withington at 0910 still going South East. In fact it prompted me to join the forum (after lurking for about a year) just to post this.
