Just checked the forecast. Horrendous conditions again tomorrow, though brightening up on Moday with wind speed dropped although clear skies forcast for Monday night, which is a little worrrying.

No sign of it so far. maybe its hiding in the reeds as the weather down there is apparently worse than here (if thats possible).

Whilst un-happily counting Coot in a gale at Sale WP this afternoon I received news of this monstrous rarity. Oh my god
Back home to tinternet and landline. I could have got a morning flight over on Skybus but you can't get off again until Monday, which dosn't leave enough time to book leave from work as I work weekends So I've stuck my neck out and booked a day return on Tuesday for £60 (previous option would be £120 plus two nights accomodation) which will give 6hrs 40 mins on the islands to connect. I'm gonna be sh***ing it now all weekend. It had better stay on St. Marys.
Who said twitchers were mad. ME. BARKING MAD. What have I done I'll have to stop counting Coot, it's unhealthy. I should have pulled a sicky.
cheers
jason
