decided to go after my last posting cracking views of both of them just down the path from the barriers about 2,45 they flew into the line of trees behind the houses thats when i had to leave so they could have been in that area y/day they was not associating with any other birds while i was there which i was expecting cracking county tick for me

3 hours spent walking round in circles y/day and no sign then shows up today little blighter il try again tomorrow but not be suprised if its gone

Momentarily thought about going for these birds, thankfuly I came to my senses. Instead borrowing my dads season ticket to watch something alot more certain than me actually being able find these birds, Bolton beating Middlesbrough.
Dipped Firecrest 3 times this year! Declan always likes to remind of the fall ot hem he had at Spurn once. Might find one wandering around my local patch within the next decade, no rush.

Pager Services report a HAWFINCH at Pickley Green, Westleigh, near Leigh, this morning at 08.36. (As yet, this is unconfirmed.)
The FIRECREST at Wigan Flashes has been confirmed as being present this morning at the end of Welham Rd.
