72 Mute Swan, drake Mandarin, 40+ Mallard, 11 Tufted Duck, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Lapwing, 40+ Black headed Gull, 1 Lesser Black backed Gull, 1 Herring Gull, 2 Common Tern, 1 Kingfisher, 20= Sand Martin, 8 Jackdaws over, 2 Bullfinch. The Mandarin Duck was flying about with Mallards and may be on the river near carpark, Its been here since Sunday.

76 Mute Swan, 2 Teal, 25 Tufted Duck, 8 Goosander, 2 Pheasant, 3 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 4 Sand Martin, 8 Swallow, 3 Blackcap, 6 Chiffchaff, 7 Willow Warbler, Now two Black Swans.

76 Mute Swan, 22 Tufted Duck, 7 Goosander, 2 Grey Wagtail, Great Spotted Woodpecker,2 Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Black Swan now been here one year.

65 Mute Swan, 57 Tufted Duck, 4 Goosander, 5 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Bullfinch, Black Swan still here.

64 Mute Swan, 50 Mallard, 30 Tufted Duck, 3 Goosander, Sparrowhawk, Common Buzzard over Shore Top,150+ Black headed Gull, 4 Common Gull, 2 Lesser B.B Gull.

68 Mute Swan, Greylag Goose, 180 Canada Goose, 42 Mallard, 35 Tufted Duck, 4 Goosander, 12 Moorhen, Black Swan, also Kingfisher and Dipper on river Croal, 11 Goldeneye croal-irwell confluence.

Quick walk round this afternoon : 50 + mute swans, black swan, pochard, goosander, 40 + canada geese, mallard, 50+ tufted ducks, an awful lot of blackheaded gulls !!
