You should have flung the squirrel on top of Macdonald's!

An adult Buzzard was standing in the middle of Cross lane in the centre of Salford this morning at 6.25 am.It was inspecting a recent roadkill of a Squirrel and was not very pleased about my approaching car.I got within 40` before it flew and perched on a nearby house. I parked up a little further down the lane near the school hoping to see it return to the Squirrel but after 3-4 minutes it flew off towards Mcdonalds at the top of Cross lane. I read last week that the Buzzard is now our commonest bird of prey , so hopefully we should see them more often in the inner city areas. Luckily for the Buzzard Mcdonalds was shut.
