Hi Steven. The Little Owls are at the middle farm on Prestolee rd, half way between the canal and Ringley rd, the one with the new house, look from the road behind the new house, they are generally on logs or posts. I was at Crompton lodges today with Frank, Kingfisher, 95 Swans, Common Tern, 6 Tufted Duck, Great Spotted Woodpecker calling. Did not see the Nuthatch today.

A nice haul for our area Tony. Where abouts are these L Owls? Think Frank said they can be found at the farm at the top of the hill in the barn usually perched on a log. Been a few times but can never connect with them. Did you see the Linnet family that was occupying an area just past the aquaduct on the Prestolee side, in the same area I saw pair of reed bunting carrying food to a nest. Regards Ste
