I've seen Hobby at Risley Moss but never in the county. Never been to Astley Moss but after all the posts on here i'm going to check it out, it sounds a great place.

After a very quite afternoon at Martin Mere, couldn't find the Curlew Sandpipers that had been reported and just missed a Hobby. Decided to pop over to Marshide. Glad i did 2 Curlew Sanpipers(lifer) right in front of Nell's hide With 100s of Dunlin. Black tailed Godwits in summer plummage a few Ringed Plover and Redshank and lots of Avocets with chicks.
