I've found that too, the longies only turn up generally early morning and late evening, perhaps that suggests they roost close by and go foraging further afield as the day progresses? Cheers Henerz

Last night just before the farce on tele, a pair of Great Spotter Woodpeckers in the trees opposite our house, facing the 16th green... Also Buzzard over head for approx 15 mins before heading towards Carrington over the meadows.. The woodpeckers the attended the feeders in our back garden for 10 mins before being scared off by our local tribe of grey squirrels ex our Holly bush... Also Long Tailed Tits seem to be the order of the day this week as well as many as 6 turning up early morning 0600-0700 most days and then again at approx 1800 every night ( according to her in doors).
