I couldn't find it today (dinnerish), but that could just be me! A couple of Chiffchaffs singing around New Hide and Rammies scrape area undoubtably overwinterers.

The owl was still showing low in the bush Judith mentioned till at least when they threw us out yesterday evening

Thanks for the info on the owl i watched it from 12.30-1.20pm a first for me would have stayed longer but work called.

Seriously though, all sightings from New Hide are perfectly acceptable for public airing but sightings from other areas should still be treated a little more carefully, and preferably go through Peter Alker (at Pennington Flash).
