As of today (the 12th) the roof repairs to Horrock's Hide are complete and the hide is now open again (thanks to Peter Alker for the info.)

Horrock's Hide will be shut for the rest of the week atleast and may be closed over the weekend although it is currently too early to be sure on that one. Hopefully we'll be updated closer to the time.
Bunting hide may also have to be closed for part or all of a day this week due to the neccessity of dealing with some storm damaged trees nearby. There is currently no time or date for this work but it's just to pre-warn

Peter Alker has today informed me that Horrock's Hide at Pennington Flash is to imminently have it's roof rebuilt, starting with the scaffolders on site today, which will of course mean the temporary closure of the hide.
Peter will endevour to keep me updated with it's progress but it would also be useful if visitors to Pennington could post the progress of the hide to this thread here, if and when they take a peek. Hopefully it will be open very soon, with a nice, new roof!
