Just to add to all the other posts
Also this morning up to midday, finishing in a heavy sleet then rain.
Juvenile Iceland Gull drifted off towards Pilsworth Tip at 11.30am. 1 Swallow present amongst 70+ Sand Martin from 11.40am. 1 Little Ringed Plover flew through 4 singing Chiffchaff (2 Creek, 1 Dip & 1 Car Park).

ian, I have some distant pics of this very white Iceland gull, a bit distant but I am sure mr mckerchar will be able to id this one, which I will send to him probably tomorrow. the pic of the Iceland gull that paul had taken on the 28th feb is a little darker and is probably the second one I picked out around 4.30pm, that one did not stay for long it flew of west around 4.50pm. the Iceland gull was still with the other large gulls until 5.25pm when a majority of them also flew off west, by 5.35pm all the gulls had gone. other birds... 3 goosanders 15 tufted ducks 2 teal 2 goldeneyes 6 gadwalls 2 oystercatchers flew over as I was walking back down the canal & 2 curlews over heading south/west. 1 skylark lots of redwings & fieldfares in the fields at crow trees farm. no signs of the sand martins.
